Sunil is the Clinical Director and founding dentist of Northlight Dental which he established in 2010. With a focused expertise in dental implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and complex oral rehabilitation, he has dedicated his clinical career to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care supported by advanced training and innovation.

After graduating from the University of Manchester Dental Hospital in 2001, Sunil held esteemed hospital positions at King’s College and Guy’s Dental Hospitals in London. During this period, he earned Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He went on to work in private practices across London and Essex while pursuing extensive further training. Sunil holds the FGDP(UK) Diploma in Implant Dentistry with Advanced Certification from the Royal College of Surgeons and a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology from King Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He has also been elected as an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry (CGDent), reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and clinical excellence.

With nearly two decades of implant experience, Sunil has placed and restored over 2,000 dental implants. He is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and contributes to the wider profession by lecturing and running his own training programmes in implant dentistry.

He is also SAAD-trained in conscious sedation and has substantial experience in managing anxious and phobic patients, creating a safe and supportive environment for those with dental anxiety.

Outside of dentistry, Sunil is passionate about live music and plays both acoustic and electric guitar in his spare time.
